Cancelation, Non Delivery, or Refusal of Delivery
In accordance with UK regulations - Consumer Protection Act Regulations 2000 (Distant Selling). The buyer has the right to cancel within 7 days of placing that order, and has not received the goods, Cancellations are not accepted where a product has been tailored specifically to that customers requirements, or is made to order furniture.
To exercise the buyer's right of cancelation, the buyer must give written notice to the seller by letter or e-mail. Notification by phone is not applicable. Once we have been notified of the cancelation, we will refund / re-credit the buyers credit card within 30 days.
This refund will be subject to a 2.5% surcharge, which covers our payment processor bank charges. If the buyer does not cancel the contract in accordance with the above the buyer shall be deemed to have accepted the order.
If we have delivered the products to the buyer, but the buyer wants to cancel the contract as detailed, the buyer must retain the goods until the cancelation notice has been sent to us within the relevant time limit, & we have replied with a confirmation.
The products can not be used, & should be kept within the packaging. The buyer will be responsible for returning the goods to us at our Blaydon address at the buyers own cost. Reasonable care should be taken to ensure no damage occurs at the buyers location or in transit. It is the consumers responcibility to organise the collection & transit of the goods back to us. If the customer has confirmed a delivery date, but for what ever reason is not in when the delivery arrives, the goods will be returned to the carriers depot.
The customer will in this case be charged £50.00 for a second delivery, this payment should be paid to Beds4udirect via phone. On receipt of the payment, the carrier will be advised to re-arrange the delivery. In the event of a customer refusing delivery for what ever reason, the goods will be held in storage for a period of 1 month ( 4 weeks ) at a charge of 15.00 per week. Any further delay will be classed as 'a total refusal’, and the goods will be returned to Beds4u ltd. In the case of ‘a total refusal’ the customer will be charged 25% of the order value plus 4 weeks storage @ 15.00 per week. In addition to any charges incurred from our carriers.
Once the goods are returned from our carriers into our warehouse, a refund of the balance will be processed, and the customer will be informed by email or post of the charges incurred and balance refunded. If the goods have been delivered & a fault is discovered, the buyer should provide written detail of the defect or damage immediately. Beds4u will then contact the buyer & provide a solution to rectify the situation.
Most items are available from stock, but due to the size and storage options on a large part of our range, some goods may be temporarily out of stock, in most cases these items will be with us within 21 days. Occasionally imported container products, such as bedsteads, may be out of stock for a longer period, but we will inform you on receipt of your purchase. Should the time delay be unsatisfactory to you, we will offer you a full refund.
