The Silentnight Mattress – Perfect Comfort

Monday, January 17th, 2011

A Silentnight Mattress is synonymous with comfort and good sound sleep. We have all had those nights when we tossed and turned, unable to sleep for whatever reason. There is little in this world so frustrating as a bad night’s sleep, and that is why we owe it to ourselves to get the best type of mattress we can to ensure that whatever else may trouble us, the lack of a comfortable bed is not one of the reasons.

A mattress is not the kind of item we buy very often, which is why it is crucial that we give the matter some serious thought before we make the plunge. It’s no good wishing you had bought a bigger one – a wider or longer one, a softer one, or a more fully featured one when you are lying on it. You need to make sure that what you purchase is what you really want. With a Silentnight Mattress you don’t have to worry about the details. That comes built in and guaranteed.

There are basically three different types of mattress: open coil sprung, foam based and pocket sprung. The open coil mattress is yesterday’s technology, the kind of thing your grandparents wrestled with. You can still buy this type of mattress, but it tends to be in the budget range. The comfort they provide is not all together bad, but perhaps not all together what you want either. Open coil sprung mattresses can be improved by adding a topping of memory foam, but there are better options.

A foam based mattresses can range from cheap to more expensive. At the lower end of the scale it can simply be a slab of ordinary foam covered by material. Higher up the scale it can be memory foam, a kind of foam that “remembers” your body shape and contours itself to that shape. Pocket sprung mattresses are generally considered to be the best. They have internal springs, each one in its own little pocket for independent movement.

A Silentnight Mattress can be either foam based or pocket sprung, or a combination of both. The full range is impressive and may create a problem in that it may be very difficult to make up your mind which model to choose. But you can rest assured – literally – that whatever your choice of Silentnight Mattress, it will be the right one.

Memory Foam Mattresses

In most people’s opinions, out of all the other types of mattresses available in the market today, memory foam mattresses are in a class of their own. Apart from offering a lot of health benefits, you will find that they are exceptionally comfortable to sleep on

So as well as guaranteeing a perfect, peaceful sleep, the Silentnight Memory Foam Mattress has many other advantages. To start with, a Silentnight Memory Foam Mattress will help reduce joint pain and alleviate back aches and pain in neck or lower back. Yet another bonus of buying a memory foam mattress is that it is naturally hypoallergenic. It prevents the build up of dust mites and is a really good option for asthmatics or those who have an allergy to dust.

A Silentnight Memory Foam Mattress will provide you with even support across your whole body which unlike normal mattresses that only give support to some parts of your body including head, shoulders, and back. A Silentnight Memory Foam Mattress provides perfect support to not only these parts, but also the neck, lower back, legs, and heels.

A lot of people may assume that a memory foam mattress is going to be an expensive buy and with a credit crunch in full swing, most of us can’t afford luxuries but let me assure you that Beds4U Direct will offer you the best deal so getting that perfect nights sleep doesn’t have to be a dream.

Memory Foam Mattresses: A Contemporary Solution to a Contemporary Problem

Tuesday, June 1st, 2010

Memory foam mattresses could be the answer to your sleeping problems. If you are consistently waking up feeling sore, stiff and tired as a result you probably need a new mattress. Memory foam mattresses provide the answer to a better night’s sleep for many former insomniacs. The problem for many people experiencing difficulty with sleeping is that the mattress they are sleeping on does not distribute their weight equally across the bed and as a result points of pressure are created, particularly on the hip, knee, neck, elbow and ankle and it is this that causes soreness, stiffness and aches in the morning.

Memory foam mattresses dispel this problem by distributing the sleepers’ weight, relieving pressure on the joints and dispersing points of pressure and pain. These mattresses mould to the shape of your body, giving and sinking more deeply in the areas where there is more pressure, such as the hip. The mattresses revert back to their shape when you get up and do not maintain the body impression left from the night before, so when you sleep in a different position the next night, the mattress will remould and provide comfort in the new sleeping position.

Order your memory foam mattress today.  It could be the answer to your prayers!

Silentnight Memory Foam Mattress

Tuesday, April 27th, 2010

I have been putting up with my bed, and specifically my mattress, for the last 9 months or so. I kept putting it off, thinking it would either last, get better or I would magically forget about it. But it didn’t. It got worse. And the worse ‘it’ got, the worse my life became.

In the last 9 months I have split up with my boyfriend, been demoted at work, had a quite bad car crash and put on a stone and a half. “What,” I hear you ask, “is the ‘it’ in this story?” Well my avid readers, the ‘it’ is a bed spring. That’s right, one measly bed spring. It may be a cursed bed spring, I doubt it, but considering all the pain it has put me though it might as well be.

I have been getting less and less sleep, been more and more grumpy (hence the deterioration of life-as-I-knew-it) and I have been going to bed with a sense of dread and waking up with a sense of relief.

Well, as I said, last week was the final straw. The spring punctured me in my sleep.

Oh, you won’t believe the new bed. It is like a dream. Would I have appreciated it as much without the last 9 months? I doubt it. But I don’t care. I bought myself a Silentnight Memory Foam Mattress. It is my most luxurious possession. I love it. Now I wake up happy, go to bed happy, I won’t crash my car ever again, I’ve already lost half a stone. And the Boyfriend? I’m working on it.

I would have thought that the conclusion of this particular story was fairly obvious. If you mattress is terrible, replace it immediately. It will ruin your life, slowly, gnawing away at it while you (try to) sleep. Don’t let it win. Buy a Silentnight Memory Foam Mattress.
