Memory Foam Mattresses

In most people’s opinions, out of all the other types of mattresses available in the market today, memory foam mattresses are in a class of their own. Apart from offering a lot of health benefits, you will find that they are exceptionally comfortable to sleep on

So as well as guaranteeing a perfect, peaceful sleep, the Silentnight Memory Foam Mattress has many other advantages. To start with, a Silentnight Memory Foam Mattress will help reduce joint pain and alleviate back aches and pain in neck or lower back. Yet another bonus of buying a memory foam mattress is that it is naturally hypoallergenic. It prevents the build up of dust mites and is a really good option for asthmatics or those who have an allergy to dust.

A Silentnight Memory Foam Mattress will provide you with even support across your whole body which unlike normal mattresses that only give support to some parts of your body including head, shoulders, and back. A Silentnight Memory Foam Mattress provides perfect support to not only these parts, but also the neck, lower back, legs, and heels.

A lot of people may assume that a memory foam mattress is going to be an expensive buy and with a credit crunch in full swing, most of us can’t afford luxuries but let me assure you that Beds4U Direct will offer you the best deal so getting that perfect nights sleep doesn’t have to be a dream.

Silentnight Mattresses

As our lives became more comfortable, our demands and expectations grow. One area of our lives, which becomes more important as we grow older gracefully, is bedtime.  We spend almost as much time sleeping and recharging our batteries as we do on the go, which is why it’s so important to find a mattress that give us the support and sound night’s sleep we deserve.

Once you have experienced a sound night’s sleep on a Silentnight mattress you will never look back.  The unique thing about the Silentnight mattress is that it comes with what they call Miracoil spring system, which very cleverly allows you to choose from soft, regular or firm comfort levels.

The Miracoil 7 is called so because it enhances your restful sleep by giving you support to your neck, shoulder, hips, knees and ankles and the full Silentnight Spring Edge Divan Bed set has a guaranteed “No Roll-Off” and “No Roll Together” technology which means that you need never bump heads or bump the floor!

Once you have purchased your Silentnight mattress you will love is getting into bed at night and feeling the mattress perfectly ensconce your body as each spring is encased in fabric pockets to do just that.

A good night’s sleep leaves one feeling well rested and ready to take on the following day. A good night’s sleep can also relieve you of stress and tension which is important when trying to lead a balanced healthy life.

Mattresses

It’s not always easy to agree on things when you’re married. A good night’s sleep however, is never in contention.

If you’re shopping around for a new mattress, you can’t beat the Silentnight range.  After some extensive shopping around and ‘bed testing’, you will be sure to reach the same conclusion.

Decisions, decisions…Silentnight Miracoil3 or Silentnight Miracoil 7?  I can tell you that between the two we went for miracoil 3, which is just as good as the 7 with a few less specs. What is brilliant is there’s one continuous spring that runs the length of one’s body, distributing the weight evenly across the bed.  No more rolling towards the middle of the bed!

The Silentnight mattresses were an easy enough choice. What we did argue over was the Metal bedsteads or the leather bedsteads. We were looking to save some money, as there was deal to buy the mattress and bed together and couldn’t quite agree on one.

I was for the Leather Bedstead and she was for the Metal. I thought a Leather one looked quite sexy in the bedroom, but she thought a Metal Bedstead would look classier. Whatever that means. Guess who won?

What to Look for When Buying a Mattress

Mattresses

COMFORT. Gone are the days when a mattress had to be hard-as-a-board to be good for you. A too-hard mattress may only succeed in putting your shoulders and hips to sleep. You’ll sleep best when your bed helps you feel cradled in comfort, cosy and secure. Today’s top quality mattress/foundation ensembles are built for superior comfort. Luxurious new cushioning materials and extra-soft surface treatments create a plusher, more comfortable feel.

SUPPORT. Correct support is the essential ingredient for a healthy body. A good mattress and foundation will gently support your body at all points and keep your spine in the same shape as a person with good standing posture.
Pay special attention to your shoulders, hips, and lower back—the heaviest parts. If there’s too little support, you can develop back pain. But if the mattress is too hard for you, you can experience uncomfortable pressure.
A word about “firm.” Don’t rely on product labels to tell you which mattress will give you the right support. One manufacturer’s “firm” may feel harder than another’s “extra firm.” The only way to find out if the support is right is to lie down and try.

DURABILITY. It’s the quality of the materials used and how they’re put together that determines how long a mattress and foundation will provide the comfort and support you bought them for. The best assurance of good performance over a good many years is to buy the highest quality sleep set you can afford.
A word about the warranty. Don’t look to the warranty to tell you how long to keep your mattress and foundation. It’s there to protect you against product defects, not against the gradual loss of comfort and support. A sleep set may still be usable after 15 or 20 years, but it’s not giving you the good night’s sleep you deserve.

SPACE. Cramped quarters can turn sleeping into a nightly wrestling match. A healthy sleeper moves anywhere from 40-60 times a night, including some dozen full body turns. You need freedom of motion while you sleep and to help you relax while getting to sleep.
If you sleep with a partner, be sure to select queen or king size. Both are not only wider, but several inches longer than the standard “double” (full size), which offers each sleeper only as much space as a baby in a crib.
