1. Your Simple Guide To Making An Online Purchase :

View the left hand menu for the goods you are interested in - double click the title.
Browse the page(s) until you find the product you are looking for.
Click ‘See Product Detail’ At the bottom of this page you will find ‘Details’ which confirm the price you pay. View ‘Options’ & select your choice if applicable. - ‘Quantity’ will always show one unless you change it.
Click ‘Add To Cart’ – this will then bring up the item(s) you have selected in ‘Your Shopping Cart’ and give you the chance to delete / update or clear the product.
Select ‘Checkout’ to proceed with your purchase, or to add additional product click left menu. If you select a second item this will be added to ‘Your Shopping Cart’ when you click ‘Add To Cart’ again.
Note : Delivered is free of charge with the exception of certain outlying post code areas, please see section 3 below, if your post code is listed as a surcharge area, please phone us on 0191 4147293 to place your order.
After Checkout you will need to log in or register, complete the required details & then choose your payment method.
We accept credit card payment which process via Sagepay which is Security Encrypted ; alternatively you can use Paypal , or call us to place your order over the phone. Please do not email us your credit card details.
Your purchase will appear on your card statement as 'BEDS4U LTD'.
We accept Visa, Mastercard, Maestro, Visa Electron, Solo but not American Express. You will be required to enter your Card Number, Card Type, Name Of Card Holder, Expire Date & 3 Digit Security Number (CVV3). All items are charged to your card immediately after your order is confirmed. You will then receive a confirmation of payment which is automatically sent to your email address.
We do not store personal or credit card details, once your order is processed, all your details are deleted.
Cardholders can expect a response to email & telephone enquiries within a maximum of 48 hours.
2. Cancelation or Refusal of Delivery :
A. In accordance with UK regulations - Consumer Protection Act Regulations 2000 (Distant Selling). The buyer has the right to cancel within 7 days of placing that order, except where a product has been tailored specifically to that customers requirements, or is made to order furniture.
B. To exercise the buyer's right of cancelation, the buyer must give written notice to the seller by letter or e-mail. Notification by phone is not applicable.
C. Once we have been notified of the cancelation, we will refund / re-credit the buyers credit card within 30 days. This refund will be subject to a 2.5% surcharge, which covers our payment processor HSBC charges.
D. If the buyer does not cancel the contract in accordance with the above clauses 1 & 2, the buyer shall be deemed to have accepted the order.
E. If we have delivered the products to the buyer, but the buyer wants to cancel the contract as detailed in clauses 1 & 2, the buyer must retain the goods until the cancelation notice has been sent to us within the relevant time limit, & we have replied with a confirmation. The products can not be used, & should be kept within the packaging. The buyer will be responsible for returning the goods to us at our Blaydon address at the buyers own cost. Reasonable care should be taken to ensure no damage occurs at the buyers location or in transit. Alternatively, we under the authority of the buyer will organise the collection of the goods. On receipt of the goods, a refund will be issued within 30 days less a surcharge of 25% plus collection & transit costs.
F. In the event of a customer refusing delivery for what ever reason, the goods will be held in storage for a period of 1 month ( 4 weeks ) at a charge of 15.00 per week. Any further delay will be classed as ‘a total refusal’, and the goods will be returned to Beds4u ltd. In the case of ‘a total refusal’ the customer will be charged 25% of the order value plus 4 weeks storage @ 15.00 per week. In addition to any charges incurred from our carriers.
G. Once the goods are returned from our carriers into our warehouse, a refund of the balance will be processed, and the customer will be informed by email or post of the charges incurred and balance refunded.
H. If the goods have been delivered & a fault is discovered, the buyer should provide written detail of the defect or damage immediately. Beds4u will then contact the buyer & provide a solution to rectify the situation.
Most items are available from stock, but due to the size and storage options on a large part of our range, some goods may be temporarily out of stock, in most cases these items will be with us within 21 days. Occasionally imported container products, such as bedsteads, may be out of stock for a longer period, but we will inform you on receipt of your purchase. Should the time delay be unsatisfactory to you, we will offer you a full refund.
As the items arrive into our stock, we or our carrier will contact you to arrange delivery.
3. About Our Delivery Service :
Deliver is Free Of Charge to most locations within UK mainland. A £25.00 surcharge is applicable for the following post code areas :
Scotland - Inverness IV, Aberdeen AB, Falkirk FK18 to FK21, Kirkwall KW, Paisley PA 19 & Above, Perth PH 8 & Above.
Wales - Landridod Wells LD & Swansea SA 31 to 99.
England - Truro TR.
Ireland - All Areas carry a £60.00 surcharge.
If you live on one of the many West Coast Scottish Islands, Shetlands, Orkney, Isle of Man, Isle of Wight or Channel Islands, we will deliver the goods to our carrier free of charge, you will then be required to pay for delivery from our carrier to your home. We have good contacts & prices for deliveries to your home in the Western Isles, Shetlands or Orkneys.
Please note delivery is normally available Monday to Friday, our premier delivery service will contact you no later than 48 hours prior to delivery. They will give you a time slot guidance of 2 to 3 hours. They operate a full rota delivery system whereby they deliver in the same areas on the same day every week. They will attempt to contact you 3 times, after which they will await contact via ourselves. We can be contacted on 0191 4147293. If your goods are not delivered from the depot within 21 days, they will return them to us. We will hold the goods till you contact us to re-arrange delivery. In this case a surcharge of 65.00 will apply.
Please check the goods prior to signing the 'received in good condition' disclaimer.
All delivery items are handled by a 2 man team, & where possible will do their utmost to put the items in the room of your choice. You will be asked to sign a disclaimer form for this service. If you are unhappy to sign the disclaimer, the goods will be off loaded to the doorstep only.
If a customer fails to be in when a delivery has been arranged, the delivery team will leave a card with the contact number on. If the customer is not in for the re-arranged 2nd delivery, a surcharge will be applied direct to the customer from the carrier.
Beds4udirect.co.uk use contracted delivery teams, who will not set up your item, if you require the goods to be assembled on site, & the packaging removed, this must be arranged at the time of ordering, and carries a 30.00 surcharge for divan beds & a 40.00 surcharge for bedsteads. Note : All bedsteads are supplied boxed for easy access, and will require pre-arranged or self assembly.
All goods and any additional upgraded charges must be arranged and paid for in full at the time of ordering. Please note that all upgraded services are non-refundable.
4. Our Customer Service & Returns Policy :
If part of your item is damaged on arrival please sign it as damaged on the couriers form and contact us immediately Tel : 0191 4147293. If you do not discover any damage until you start to unpack the goods, don’t worry, just phone us and explain which part is damaged or missing. We will then get that part to you as quick as possible and collect the damaged section.
All our Metal, Wooden, Leather or Faux Leather Bedsteads & Bedroom Furniture carry a standard 12-month guarantee. All our Beds & Mattresses carry a standard 12-month guarantee plus an additional warranty period of upto 5 years. In the unlikely event that a problem should arise due to either faulty material or poor workmanship, during the first year from date of purchase we will repair or replace any part, or all of the product that is defective, completely free of charge.
During the second & subsequent years, a sliding scale of charges on usage plus transport costs comes into effect as follows : Year 2 – 25% of the current internet price plus £45.00 transport costs : Year 3 – 40% of the current internet price plus £45.00 transport costs : Year 4 – 60% of the current internet price plus £45.00 transport costs : Year 5 – 80% of the current internet price plus £45.00 transport costs.
In the event of the goods that you purchased becoming discontinued, or the specification being changed, the nearest option will be offered.

If for any reason you wish to return the goods, please note that you have seven working days in which to report this to us. The following conditions apply:
The goods are returned to us at a charge of £70.00 to the consumer, this is to recover part of the collection cost. The consumer must retain possession and take good care of the goods until we come and collect them. The goods are returned in the original packaging. The items have not been part or fully assembled. Mattresses must not be slept on. This returns policy excludes special order items such as made to measure mattresses; such items will not be subject to cancelation or return.
Collections are on an all day service between 8.30am- 5.30pm due to courier restrictions. Please note if you want to return an item at the point of delivery for any reason for example does not fit, you will still incur the return fee of £70.00.
Once the item has been returned to us in good condition, the consumer will be refunded less the £70.00 recovery fee within 14 days.
