Our range of electric adjustable beds all have a length of 6'6 (198cm) & offer you the option of a base on legs, or a full depth deep base. A fabric choice for the base is also available on selected models. A vat free purchase is possible on these products if the user is registered disabled or has a written doctor confirmation, that an adjustable bed would assist the users comfort. Deliver is Free Of Charge to most locations within UK mainland, please read our purchasing terms and conditions, section 3, which can be found on our home page left side menu. You can even have your bed assembled, & the packaging removed, if arranged when ordering at a modest additional charge.

All the bases feature a ' 5 comfort zone ' electric action controlled by a simple to use hand held control. A bed on legs or full depth base option is also available on selected models. Available sizes include : 2'6 (75cm) - 3'0 (91cm) - 4'0 (120cm) - 4'6 (135cm) - 5'0 (150cm) & 6'0 (180cm) - please note that 5'0 & 6'0 models are made up from 2 x 2'6 or 2 x 3'0 models linked together, allowing for individual movement & personal positioning.

Pocket Sprung Technology from Rest Assured :

Rest Assured believe the mattress should adjust to you – not the other way round. So for your complete ease and comfort, the mattresses contain hundreds of springs placed closely together under layers of sumptuous fillings. Each precision-made coil is wrapped in its own individual soft cloth sleeve, holding the spring at exactly the right tension and allowing it to move independently. This means each spring is poised to adjust and respond to your every movement for a deeply supportive sleep, all night long. Within the range you will find an assortment of spring counts indicated by the number after the model name, e.g. the Bellini 2000 has 2,000 individual pocket springs in a king size mattress. ( Within the bed trade all spring counts on pocket sprung models relate to the number of springs in a 5’0 king size mattress, other sizes are pro rata to the 5’0 ) The more springs there are, the less body weight has to be supported by each spring and the mattress will be more supportive and responsive. Pocket sprung mattresses can be purchased on their own or as a complete divan bed.

Traditional & Modern Day Fillings :

Rest Assured still use all of the traditional methods when making a mattress, hand stitched side boarders are common place, as are side air vents, and turning handles. Traditional fillings include pure new wool, smooth silk, mohair & assorted soft fibre pads. Mattresses with these fillings are normally finished with hand tufting to maintain the mattress shape and stop unnecessary movement of the fillings. It should be noted that this type of mattress will show dips in the top surface where you have been sleeping, this is quiet normal and due to the high depth of fillings being naturally flattened into shape. You will find a traditional filled mattress gets comfier through use, over a period of years the comfort level will outlast other types of mattresses with lesser quality fillings.

In addition to the traditional fillings Rest Assured widely use memory foam and Innergetic® latex as a top layer. The memory foam slowly compresses with your body heat and weight, molding to your exact body shape. Combined with the pocket spring unit, the comfort level is rarely surpassed. Latex reacts quicker, and instantly supports your body shape, reducing pressure points across your body, it is also breathable and offers you a cooler sleeping surface. When used in conjunction with a pocket sprung system the comfort level is superior. Both memory foam mattresses and latex mattresses are easy care and only require turning head to toe. The rebound properties of memory foam and latex also help to maintain the mattresses shape & appearance.

Easyrest® Pocketed Spring System - This unique barrel shaped spring is wider round the middle allowing them to telescope inside themselves when being compressed. This allows full flexing of the spring & ensures that the mattress cradles your body providing correct spinal support. Pocket springs are normally stitched into individual polyester cases, the Easyrest spring uses non-allergenic, non-moisture absorbent pocket material, meaning the pockets last longer & naturally provide a healthier sleeping environment.

Postureline 1100 Spring system - Hand made in the Calder Valley the Postureline spring system is unique to Dorlux Beds & has an interlinked system made from one continuous piece of wire, which enables all the springs to work in unison and is especially designed to promote restful sleep. The springs run from head to toe which results in exceptional individual support, eliminates roll together & adapts to the natural shape of your body. With three times the springs than an ordinary mattress, the Postureline spring system is especially suitable or bedsteads & bed frames.

Flexiform Spring Unit - Designed by Swiss engineers & manufactured exclusively by Dorlux. The springs are heat treated twice, firstly when individual springs are formed & secondly when assembled, the entire spring unit is then tempered in a giant oven, ensuring they maintain their shape & form for years to come. A Flexiform mattress contains hundreds of small springs, twice as many as conventional sprung mattresses, thus offering outstanding levels of comfort.

Open Coil Spring system - This is the most widely used spring system within the bedding industry. It incorporates rows of hourglass shaped springs, which are joined to the neighboring springs by a continuous small diameter spiral called 'helical wire'. These open coil units are heat treated twice as pr the Flexiform Spring Unit.
